VFS Student Council

The Vertical Flight Society’s Student Council is a newly established decision-making body that empowers students to become leaders in the vertical flight community. The council is composed of five officers in addition to directors from across the globe, all dedicated to advancing the education and professional development of students passionate about vertical flight technology. Specifically:

• The Council will establish a network of students involved with vertical flight to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• We will increase student engagement in VFS events, such as forums and the annual Student Design Competition, thereby offering valuable opportunities for skill development and professional growth.
• We will work to inspire and support the next generation of leaders and innovators in the field of vertical flight.
• We will focus on matters relevant to student members, including educational opportunities, career development, networking, and advocacy.

Interested in joining the VFS Student Council?

We are looking for Student Council Officers and Directors for 2025-2026. Serving on the council involves attending a monthly council meeting as well as contributions at your leisure specific to your position.
