Alexandre Guibert

University of California, San Diego

Alex Guibert is currently in his third year pursuing a Ph.D. in the structural engineering department at UC San Diego. Alongside his studies, he holds a part-time position as a mechanical engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). He holds a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a master's in Physics, and an MBA. He also holds an MS in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego. Under the guidance of Dr. H. Alicia Kim, his research at UC San Diego focuses on topology optimization of multiphysics systems.
