Donate to VFS Educational Programs
VFS offers two donation-driven educational programs. Thank you for your support!
The Vertical Flight Knowledge Initiative (VFKI) Fund was established by the Society to advance technical understanding, research, and knowledge-sharing in the field of vertical flight. This fund originated with a seed donation from the Alex Stoll Memorial Fund, and your contribution represents a significant step in expanding this effort.
The Vertical Flight Foundation was established in 1967 as the philanthropic arm of the American Helicopter Society (now the Vertical Flight Society). As a charitable organization, the Foundation's operation is made possible solely through voluntary tax-deductible contributions.
100% of every tax-deductible contribution to VFF goes directly to student scholarships. The Vertical Flight Society covers all overhead costs of administration and accounting, and contributes a portion of its revenue to supplementing individual contributions.
How does your donation help?
Your support of these initiatives has a direct impact on the advancement of current and next-generation vertical flight technologies. By contributing, you become an essential part of realizing our vision for the future by helping develop our future leaders and supporting deserving students.

Corporate Matching Gift Programs: Many organizations financially match employee contributions to non-profit organizations such as the Vertical Flight Society. Please contact your company administrator to find out if such programs exist to maximize your impact.
Donor Advised Funds: DAFs can help our donors maximize their tax benefits and ease their administrative burdens while supporting the Vertical Flight Foundation Scholarships. Please consult a financial advisor to determine if this is the best way forward for your philanthropy, or if other charitable giving vehicles better suit your needs.
