Alex Duffy

Alex Duffy is a second-year undergraduate student majoring in Aerospace Engineering at Penn State University. He currently conducts research under Dr. Edward Smith through Penn State's Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence (VLRCOE). Specifically, his work centers on designing and analyzing metal-based energy absorption systems for usage on off-world rotorcraft such as NASA's Dragonfly. His eventual career goal is to become an executive at a leading aerospace company.
