Yuval Enciu

University of Maryland

Yuval Enciu is a second-year MS student at the Alfred Gessow Rotorcraft Center in the department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland. She is working under the guidance of Dr. Anubhav Datta. Her research explores the development and demonstration of certifiable, zero-emission, long range rotorcraft. The work focuses on characterization and testing of PEM fuel cell stacks with gaseous hydrogen, analysis of rotorcraft flight test data, model tuning, and the development of propulsion and aeromechanic design optimization analysis tools. Aside from research, she mentors undergraduate students and STEM interns. Yuval graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2023 with a BS in Aerospace Engineering. Upon completion of the MS degree, Yuval intends to continue into the PhD program in Aerospace Engineering under the guidance of her current advisor. Yuval likes to spend her free time hiking, playing the guitar, and reading books.
