Steven Yon

Oklahoma State University

Steven Yon is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Oklahoma State University. He currently works with Dr. Sicheng Kevin Li at the Rotorcraft Aerodynamics and Aeroacoustics Lab. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Hartford. His research focuses on shipboard helicopter operations, unsteady aerodynamics, and experimental fluids, with a focus on understanding how complex flow structures affect rotorcraft performance and pilot handling. Steven is also a Student Member of the VFS Acoustics Technical Committee.
