Jack Dooher is a third-year Ph.D. student under Dr. Moble Benedict at Texas A&M University. He earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M in 2019. His research focuses on the development of tube-launched aircraft. Specifically, his work combines experimentation with flight dynamics modeling to enable a comprehensive understanding of the aeromechanics of foldable, unmanned aircraft which can be launched ballistically for fast deployment and increased range. He is a recipient of the SMART scholarship through Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, where he will work after completing his Ph.D. He plans to continue working on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) research during his future career.
