2025 ICAAMS 3

The ICAAMS Conference was jointly founded and established by the Vertical Flight Society (VFS) Asia Australia Region and Rotary Wing Society of India (RWSI), and formalized by Vertical Flight Society (Australian Chapter).  The conference series is now hosted on a yearly rotational basis in the Asia-Australia Region by the following countries: Australia, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and United Arab Emirates.

The following subdisciplines of Aerospace and Aviation and its associated topics will be covered:

• Aerodynamics: Rotary wing/Fixed Wing/Tilt Wing/Tiltrotor — Transitional flight
• Structures and Materials: Light-weight
• Propulsion: Electric or Hybrid
• Systems: Onboard and Offboard
• Design: All configurations — Multi-rotor or Compound
• Operations: Flight and Ground
• Airworthiness and Regulations: Operational and Technical
• Airspace Management: Urban and Semi-Urban
• Air Transport: Planning and Economics
• Product Support: MROs and Supply Chain
• Educations and Training: Diploma and Undergraduate Curriculum
• Artificial Intelligence: Potential Application in AAM Systems

ICAAMS-3 Papers will be peer reviewed by the ICAAMS Series Technical Committee comprising of members from participating countries.

Invited Keynotes will be delivered specifically by the host country speakers from the appropriate industry, academia, and government agencies. It will cover the four domains of Research and Innovation, Design and Technologies, Airworthiness and Regulations, as well as Airspace Management with a focus on ‘AAM status and future' in Thailand.

Joint Study Report on ‘AAM Education and Research Capabilities’ in the country, that commenced with Australia and India, will now commence incorporating the host country. At ICAAMS-3, Thailand will provide their first report. The study report aims at identifying and progressing AAM education and research collaboration, between the countries.  

ICAAMS-3 Workshop will be conducted on the third day as a half day event. The keynote presentations will form the base for the workshop, for deliberations specific to the four domains - Research & Innovation, Design & Technologies, Airworthiness & Regulations and Airspace Management.

ICAAMS-3 Proceedings will be in digital form only. Workshop Proceedings will be in the form of ‘ICAAMS-3 Supplementary Proceedings’ released after the Conference.
